But I think the gas system length has more to do with its' consistency because I haven't touched the gas block and it runs both subsonic and supersonic in these weights. My upper cycles 178 Amax and 180 grain SP like a champ but it has a pistol length gas system and and adjustable gas block. I would like to get a good subsonic load using these bullets, but if I am forced to use 200 grain + rounds to get a consistent round that cycles my gun I guess I'll have to go that route.
